P R O G R E S S I O N - 2004.Jun.18 Firstly, I want to thank every single person who has written to me about this site in the past three and a half years. Your words are cherished, it means a lot to me that this humble work of mine continues to inspire others. As it turns out, this site was the first step on the path of becoming an artist, both professionally and personally. I've freelanced for the past few years, including work on and off for American McGee. Next month I'm visiting the USA to try and get a full time job doing art for games. To see more of my art, please check out http://www.kenart.net. Best regards, R E F L E C T I O N - 2001.Dec.06 It's been almost a year since The Tangle Box was launched, and I'm still getting kind comments from readers. I never would have expected such a humble work to be so inspiring. You may be interested to know that I'm now working for American McGee's new company as a concept artist. I can't talk about the new game yet, but it will be something Alice fans can look forward to. Visit Carbon6 Entertainment for updates. For those of you who don't know, my personal page Kenspace has more of my artwork from the past few years, including a few Alice works. I hope the past year has treated you as well as it has treated me. P O S T M O R T E M - 2001.Jan.23 As you may know, this site won second prize in the Alice fansite competition. Congratulations to the other winners and those who didn't place - they should be commended for their creative efforts. After reading Alice's case book included with the game and seeing the introduction cinematic, this story seems a little redundant. That's because when I began this before the game was released, I wasn't really sure of the back story, so I created my own. Thanks to all of you for visiting my site, and the many of you who have written to me with great feedback. I couldn't have asked for more. Some have asked if I have any other work to show; unforunately I don't. This is the beginning. |
